Скачивание файлов с https://tormac.org на компьютер Mac можно осуществить с помощью различных торрент-клиентов, о некоторых из них пойдет речь ниже.
qBittorrent (рекомендуемый):
- Установка и запуск
- Скачать можно по этой ссылке. Или перейдите на официальный сайт qBittorrent и нажмите на кнопку "Download" (Скачать). [старые версиий для старых macOS и не только, берем вот здесь или там]
Если вы увидите предупреждение
Открываем Launchpad > выбираем > Системные настройки > далее выбираем Защита и безопасность и там на вкладке Основные и нажимаем Подтвердить вход
У вас появится окошко с двумя иконками Applications и qBittorrent, перетащите иконку qBittorrent в Applications.
После перетаскивания приложение появится у вас в Launchpad и всех программах, откуда его можно будет быстро запускать.
- Запустите qbittorrent после установки.
При первом запуске приложения нас может встречать окно с предупреждением о невозможности проверить на наличиие вредоносного ПО.
Снова переходим Launchpad > Системные настройки > Защита и безопасность > Основные > Подтвердить вход
Так же нас попросят принять условия пользования нажимаем: I Agree
В итоге мы успешно запустили приложение qBittorrent. Как это выглядит илююстрация см. ниже. Теперь можно приступить к скачиванию.
- Скачивание через qBittorrent
- Перейдите на tormac.org зайдите в интересующую вас тему и нажмите на кнопку Скачать .torrent.
- Сохраните файл .torrent на вашем компьютере. И далее на выбор: двойной клик по скачанному файлу и он откроется в qBittorrent или в самом клиенте нажимаем на кнопку +
Тут у нас могут запросить разрешение на доступ к содержимому некторых папок, разрешаем нажимаем Ok см. иллюстрация 1, переходим в папку Downloads (сюда по умолчанию сохранился torrent) выбираем его и нажимаем кноку Open см. илююстрация 2
В следующем окне нам предложат указать место где сохранить скачанный файл.
Нажимаем Ок и готово.
Чтобы быстро попасть в расположение скачанного файла, нажимаем в клиенте на строчке с только что скачанным приложеним правой кнокой мыши и выбираем Open destination folder

Transmission:
- Перейдите на официальный сайт Transmission (https://transmissionbt.com/) и нажмите на кнопку "Download" (Скачать).
- Скачайте установщик Transmission для Mac и установите приложение.
- Откройте Transmission после установки.
- Перейдите на tormac.org зайдите в интересующую вас тему и нажмите на кнопку Скачать .torrent.
- Сохраните файл .torrent на вашем компьютере.
- В Transmission выберите меню "File" (Файл) и выберите "Open" (Открыть). Затем выберите загруженный файл .torrent.
- Появится окно настройки загрузки, где вы можете выбрать место сохранения файла и другие параметры. Нажмите "OK" (ОК), чтобы начать загрузку.

На примере transmission
1. Берем тут https://transmissionbt.com/download
2. Запускаем
3. Перейдите на tormac.org зайдите в интересующую вас тему и нажмите на кнопку Скачать .torrent.
4. Запускаем .torrent выбираем расположение и нажимаем добавить
5. Добавленный торрент должен появится в списке на закачку

- Скачайте установщик uTorrent для Mac и установите приложение.
- Запустите uTorrent после установки.
- Перейдите на tormac.org зайдите в интересующую вас тему и нажмите на кнопку Скачать .torrent.
- Сохраните файл .torrent на вашем компьютере.
- В uTorrent выберите меню "File" (Файл) и выберите "Add Torrent" (Добавить торрент). Затем выберите загруженный файл .torrent.
- Нажмите "OK" (ОК), чтобы начать загрузку.

- Перейдите на официальный сайт BitTorrent (https://www.bittorrent.com/) и нажмите на кнопку "Download" (Скачать).
- Скачайте установщик BitTorrent для Mac и установите приложение.
- Запустите BitTorrent после установки.
- Перейдите на tormac.org зайдите в интересующую вас тему и нажмите на кнопку Скачать .torrent.
- Сохраните файл .torrent на вашем компьютере.
- В BitTorrent выберите меню "File" (Файл) и выберите "Add Torrent" (Добавить торрент). Затем выберите загруженный файл .torrent.
- Нажмите "OK" (ОК), чтобы начать загрузку.

You can download files from https://tormac.org on a Mac using various torrent clients, some of which are described below.
qBittorrent (Recommended):
- Installation and Launch
- You can download it via this link or visit the official qBittorrent website and click the "Download" button.
If you see a warning,
Open Launchpad > choose > System Preferences > then select Security & Privacy and under the General tab click Allow Anyway.
A window will appear with two icons, Applications and qBittorrent. Drag the qBittorrent icon to Applications.
After dragging, the application will appear in Launchpad and All Programs, from where you can quickly launch it.
- Launch qBittorrent after installation.
Upon first launch, you might see a warning about being unable to verify for malware.
Go back to Launchpad > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > Allow Anyway.
You'll be asked to accept the terms of use. Click I Agree.
You have successfully launched qBittorrent. See the illustration below. Now you can start downloading.
- Downloading via qBittorrent
- Go to tormac.org, navigate to the topic you're interested in, and click the Download .torrent button.
- Save the .torrent file on your computer. Then either double-click the downloaded file to open it in qBittorrent, or click the + button in the client.
You might be asked for permission to access certain folders. Allow this by clicking Ok (see Illustration 1), navigate to the Downloads folder (where the torrent file is saved by default), select the torrent file, and click Open (see Illustration 2).
In the next window, specify the location where you want to save the downloaded file.
Click Ok to start the download.
To quickly access the downloaded file, right-click on the downloaded application in the client and select Open destination folder.

Transmission:
- Go to the official Transmission website (https://transmissionbt.com/) and click the "Download" button.
- Download the Transmission installer for Mac and install the application.
- Open Transmission after installation.
- Go to tormac.org, navigate to the topic you're interested in, and click the Download .torrent button.
- Save the .torrent file on your computer.
- In Transmission, select the "File" menu and choose "Open". Then select the downloaded .torrent file.
- A download settings window will appear where you can choose the save location and other parameters. Click "OK" to start the download.

Launch the .torrent file, choose the location, and click Add.
The added torrent should appear in the download list.

- In BitTorrent, select the "File" menu and choose "Add Torrent". Then select the downloaded .torrent file.
- Click "OK" to start the download.
P.S. If you liked the downloaded material and everything works, or if it doesn't work, leave a comment in the topic and provide feedback. It's easy and quick, but it helps the author improve the torrent content.
